Demetrius Stanley Burks, born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 26, 1951 to the parents of Partee Burks and Erma Stevens passed away on November 3, 2022 peacefully at home with his family by his side.
Husband of Billie Burks. Mr. Demetrius Burks served time in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Sergeant from 1969 to 1973.
He was employed with Republic Steel /Acelor Mittal for 40 years plus as a Millwright.
He was known for his he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be missed dearly.
A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the R. A. Prince Funeral Service Chapel A from 5pm to 7pm.
Funeral Services will be held on, Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church at 3290 East 126th Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44120 at 10:30 AM. Family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to services.
Interment will be held at 12:00 PM at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery 5505 Northfield Road, Bedford Heights, OH 44146.
