James was born in Cleveland, Ohio on, September 23, 1947, to James Witherspoon and Gertrude Witherspoon nee Person.
Father of James R. Witherspoon III, brother of Allen Witherspoon, Steven Witherspoon and Jacqueline Witherspoon.
On Sunday, October 20, 2024, a public viewing will be held from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the R. A. Prince Funeral Services.
On Monday, October 21, 2024, Funeral Services will be held at Lee Road Baptist Church @ 3970 Lee Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44128 at 10:30 A.M.
Family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to services.
