Albert Daniel Childress (affectionately known as “Danny”) was the son of Albert Williams and Catherine Childress, born on June 10, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio. Both his parents and two siblings, Raymond Turner and Kevin Turner all preceded him in death.

Danny attended the Cleveland Public Schools. Danny worked as a machinist at Warner and Swasey Company. He was a skilled machinist and electronic, technician graduating from the Electronic Institute of Technology. He later practiced his trade as a television repairman.

He loved life, family, to travel and music and was a gifted guitarist. Danny had a great sense of humor and was interested in anything that challenged his mind. Danny loved to play chess and bid whist, and as he proudly boasted “he was so proficient he once beat two opponents at the same time.” Additionally, he loved skating and dancing.

After lingering health problems, Danny departed this life on Sunday, April 10, 2016.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter: Marcelyn Greene (Marcie), his son: Dwayne Hunter, his sisters: Barbara Lee and Karen Zellers (Robert), his brothers: Copeland (Butch) L. Turner (Jeanette), Matthew O. Turner (Brinda), his grandchildren: Darrion Greene and Lorra Greene, his great-grandchildren, Dakota Greene and C.J. Davis Ill, his nephews: Darrell (Vivian), Terry (Carolyn), Edward and Harlan (Carmalisa) Lee, his nieces: Calina Turner-Smith (Jerrod), Catherine Dennard, Remi Zellers, Yvette Turner, Constance Turner. Along with a host of beloved family and friends.

1 John 5: 10-13
“He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness of himself. He that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; And he that hath not the Son hath not life. These things have I written unto to you that believe on the name of the Son of God: that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
