Burline Pulley, was born on July 21, 1929, to Burrell Stinson and Earline Mahone in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the fifth of six children, Jeff Raymond, Douglas, Harold, Eugenia and Joseph whom all preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Collinwood High School and later attended Jane Adams Nursing School. Burline pursued a career in Nursing at St. Lukes Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1952, she married Clarence Pennyman, and to that union one child, Clare was born. Burline briefly remarried Roy Pulley. She retired from a fulfilled career at St. Lukes Hospital in 1986.

Burline enjoyed her role as a grandmother. Ms Pulley accepted Christ early in life and was a faithful member of the True Vine Baptist Church. In her later years, she enjoyed reading the scriptures, listening to music and watching old films such as the Turner Classic Movies.

Burline was also preceded in death by her grandson, Jerome Jones.

Burline is survived by her loving daughter, Clare (Ken), Randolph, grandson: Jason Jones, granddaughter: Ashley Randolph, great granddaughter: Jaisen Randolph, nephew: Rev. Nate Shorter, great-nephews: Darryl and Jonathan Shorter and a host of other relatives and friends.
